SMMS Weekly Update
January 17th, 2024
Parent Conferences
Conferences will be held on January 18th from 5:00 - 7:00PM. The conferences will be on a first come-first served basis. Please review the following procedures:
- All parents will enter using the side entry doors, close to the gym and the large parking lot.
- There is a basketball game that evening. If you are attending conferences, please just let the staff members selling tickets know and they will direct you to the secretarial staff.
- Parents will check-in with the secretarial staff and obtain directions for the teachers they wish to see.
- With the limited amount of time for so many students that evening, teachers will set a timer for five (5) minutes at the start of each conference. If you need more time, please let the teacher know and he or she will work to set up a longer conference at a later date.

- Students are expected to arrive on time for class.
- Each teacher will take attendance to start the period.
- Students will be issued an after school detention on the third late arrival to a class period.
