Nurturing Resilient and Happy Children
My dear parents, teachers, guardians, and well-wishers, parenting as well as co-parenting is a journey filled with joys, challenges, and opportunities for growth. It's a role that demands patience, understanding, and a whole lot of love. Our ultimate goal is to raise children who are not only well-adjusted and responsible but also happy and resilient in the face of life's ups and downs.
Unconditional Love and Acceptance
The foundation of any healthy parent-child relationship is unconditional love and acceptance. Let your child know that you love them for who they are, not just for their achievements or behaviour. This sense of security will give them the confidence to explore the world around them.
Effective Communication
Open and honest communication is key to understanding your child's thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Listen actively, ask questions, and offer guidance without judgment. This creates a safe space for them to express themselves and seek your support when needed.
Set Clear Boundaries
Children thrive in environments with clear, consistent boundaries. These guidelines provide a sense of security and help them understand what is expected of them. Be firm yet fair, and explain the reasons behind rules to help them grasp the importance of certain behaviors.
Lead by Example
Children are like sponges, absorbing everything around them. Be a positive role model by demonstrating the values and behaviors you want them to emulate. Show kindness, respect, and empathy in your interactions with others.
Encourage Independence and Decision-Making
Foster your child's independence by allowing them to make age-appropriate choices. This empowers them to take responsibility for their actions and build confidence in their decision-making abilities. Offer guidance when needed, but avoid micromanaging.
Foster a Growth Mindset
Encourage a growth mindset by emphasizing the importance of effort, learning, and perseverance. Teach your child that failures are opportunities for growth, and that their abilities are not fixed. This mindset promotes resilience and a positive outlook on challenges.
Be Participative: Celebrate Achievements, Big and Small
Celebrate your child's achievements, no matter how small. This reinforces their sense of accomplishment and boosts their self-esteem. Acknowledge their efforts and encourage them to take pride in their accomplishments.
Provide a Safe and Nurturing Environment
Ensure that your home is a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where your child feels secure and valued. Create opportunities for play, exploration, and creativity. Spend quality time together, engaging in activities that promote bonding.
Promote Healthy Habits
Encourage a balanced lifestyle that includes regular exercise, a nutritious diet, and ample sleep. These habits contribute to your child's physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
Flexibility and Adaptability
Recognize that every child is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. Stay open to adjusting your parenting approach based on your child's individual needs, personality, and development.
Let each one of us work hand in hand to better support these young individuals and make them reach their personal best. Let's build stronger valuable happy bonds with our children.

MESSAGE FROM THE CLUSTER COORDINATOR
Teacher-Student Relationships in the Modern Age
“Teachers who put relationships first don’t just have students for one year, they have students who view them as their ‘teacher’ for life.” – Justin Tarte
In the quick-paced, technologically advanced modern world, the dynamics of a teacher-student relationship have changed significantly. With the rise of social media, not only has communication changed, but so too have the borders of the educational ecosystem. Because of this, developing a strong teacher-student relationship is more important than ever. Respect, professionalism, and personal accountability are the cornerstones of creating a strong relationship between teachers and students.
While the teachers have to understand students' unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations; the students have to recognise the efforts of the teachers in mentoring them. If done so, it will forge the desired classical bond which will go beyond the classroom and institution thus creating a nurturing environment for growth. Similar to how respect is the foundation of any relationship, the teacher-student connection is no different. When knowledge is plentiful, earning respect calls for a careful balancing act between authority and sensitivity. Teachers must model respect for their students' diverse backgrounds and perspectives, while students should also reciprocate by valuing their mentors' knowledge and assistance. This mutual respect will not only enrich the learning experience but also will lay the foundation for a healthy and fruitful educational journey.
Maintaining professionalism in these interactions is not very easy in the digital era. Social media platforms blur the lines between personal and professional life, demanding reasonable awareness from the teachers. Striking a balance between approachability and maintaining professional boundaries is paramount at every stage. Teachers must be vigilant about the information they share with students, ensuring that it meets the values and standards of their educational institution. Teachers should be proactive in understanding the unique needs of each student and should offer requisite support and guidance. Additionally, students also bear the responsibility of actively engaging in their own learning curve, seeking clarification when needed, and taking ownership of their progress.
With technological advancement and digital information overload, the role of a teacher extends far beyond spreading prescribed curriculum content. A willingness to impart knowledge that is beyond textbooks and syllabi distinguishes good teachers from excellent ones. Teachers should inspire their students by setting personal examples, generating curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and equipping them with the latest invaluable skills for success in an ever-evolving world. This dedication must extend beyond the classrooms.
The involvement of parents in the teacher-student relationship is often underestimated but is invaluable. With the collaborative effort of teachers and parents, this relationship becomes a synergistic force that empowers students to reach their full potential. By embracing these principles, teachers and students alike can embark on a common journey of growth, enlightenment, and lifelong learning.

From the pen of our Head of the Commerce Department
The Commerce Department orchestrated a collaborative effort to present learners with a formidable quiz, igniting enthusiasm and prompting robust engagement. The interactive quiz format not only rendered learning enjoyable but also facilitated the assimilation of comprehensive knowledge.
Embarking on hands-on learning experiences imbues the acquisition of new knowledge and skills with a delightful dimension. This sophisticated approach is not only highly efficacious but also inherently pleasurable. Through direct interaction with the subject matter, learners elevate their comprehension, retention, and overall profound understanding, transforming the learning process into a genuinely gratifying experience.
The initiative was undertaken for A-level learners to demonstrate their comprehension of the government's objectives in Macroeconomics. The students adeptly elucidated the subject, employing a variety of colors to construct a mind map. This approach proved instrumental in dispelling misconceptions and fortifying their grasp of the subject matter. Not only did it foster an enjoyable learning environment, but it also stimulated problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. Consequently, given the chance to partake in hands-on experiences, learners would undoubtedly seize the opportunity, ensuring a memorable and enriching learning journey!
To showcase talent Our AS-level learners have also put their heart and soul into creating advertisements for their differentiated products and created an environment of guided learning experience through using technology to show the advertisement and collaboration by enhancing the knowledge of the peer through discussion in class.

Vihaan Bhandari's account on the field trip -
An industrial visit may not typically be associated with excitement, but when it involves hand-carved antiques and handicrafts, even a visit to a modest branch of a small company can become captivating. The entrance, spacious enough to accommodate a dozen double-deckers with room to spare, hints at the vastness within. The manufacturing area surpasses expectations, brimming with extraordinary merchandise meticulously carved down to the smallest details.
As you step into the courtyard, you're greeted by rows of products arranged in a seemingly unkempt yet purposeful manner, each section designated by the material used—ivory, bone, stone, metal, and more. The diversity is astounding, showcasing craftsmanship in every conceivable medium.
However, the true marvel unfolds on the subsequent floors. Three levels are adorned with intricate designs, where products are dyed and cleaned to perfection. The space is a harmonious blend of ancient archaeological artifacts and modern furniture, strategically placed across the room. Navigating through narrow corridors, the eye is drawn to a mesmerizing array of colors—each hue meticulously chiseled into the mix, creating a delicate yet radiant spectacle that holds our gaze, making it challenging to look away from this breathtaking panorama.
The industrial visit to Neelkanth Arts & Crafts, which was organized by the school for Grade 9, presented itself as a great learning experience for the students as well as for the accompanying teachers. The visit aimed to give the students an insight into the variety of processes that a single product encompasses.
The visit to the Cross Country Furniture Factory in Basni, Jodhpur was an enriching and insightful experience for the students of grades 10 to 12 from Bodhi International School. The purpose of the visit was to understand the intricate process of transforming raw materials into finished furniture ready for export.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the factory staff who eagerly explained each step of the production process. From the initial selection of high-quality raw materials to the precise craftsmanship involved in shaping and assembling the furniture pieces, the students witnessed the dedication and skill required in the industry.
Highlighting the visit was the opportunity to interact with one of the directors and his son, who generously shared their knowledge and expertise. This engagement allowed students to ask questions, clarify doubts, and gain valuable insights into the business aspects of furniture production.
In conclusion, the visit to the Cross Country Furniture Factory was an eye-opening experience for the students, offering them a deeper understanding of the furniture manufacturing industry. It provided a practical glimpse into the journey from raw materials to export-ready products, enhancing their overall educational experience.

Young Wordsmith: A Marvelous Moment of Mini Mastery in Author's Purpose!
In a delightful twist of roles, the Grade 6 classroom recently witnessed a young scholar, Kushaan Pareek, stepping into the shoes of the teacher. During a spontaneous moment, a budding intellect in our class took charge, conducting an impromptu flipped classroom session on the intricate topic of "Author's Purpose."
The atmosphere was charged with curiosity as our young educator led the class through the fundamental concept of understanding why authors write. With an infectious enthusiasm, they shared insights into the varied purposes authors have, from informing and persuading to entertaining and expressing.
As we watched our student seamlessly guide his classmates through this intellectual journey, it became evident that learning is not confined to the conventional roles of teacher and student. The incident emphasized the importance of fostering an environment where students feel empowered to take the lead in their learning.
This impromptu flipped classroom was not just a lesson on "Author's Purpose" but also a testament to the creativity and initiative thriving within our student body. Janmashtami
Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh, or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the older times; hope, that the malicious rule of Kansa would soon end.
To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Bodhi International School with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, the soothing aroma of camphor, and the jingle of bells filled the air. While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria, and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. Bodhi International School took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with young minds to celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty.
The students dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers, and matkas. The celebration was truly entertaining and educational. A lot of fun-filled activities like arts and crafts, fun quizzes, stories of the birth of Krishna, Makhan Handi etc were held. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate the value of sharing and respect in the students.
