A Note from Mrs. Solomon
Wild Rose Families,
I would like to begin by thanking all of our community for their donations for DANCEFIT!! The students had a blast! Fun was had by all and the students will be sure to see all of their hard work pay off! We are walking through the necessary steps to have a rock wall installed in the gym! Our hope is to have it installed prior to the end of the year for all of our current students and beyond to experience! Huge thank you to our PTO for working through this fundraiser and working to raise funds not only for the rock wall, but for many other PTO events for our families to enjoy and staff benefits.
We wish everyone a restful week of family, rejuvenation and giving thanks! We are a third of the way through the school year. Report cards will be posted on HOME ACCESS CENTER on Tuesday for all to see their child's progress so far this year! We have 2/3 of the year to go and a lot to be thankful for! Enjoy the time off!

Principal, Wild Rose Elementary
DANCE FIT
Please hear us say a HUGE “Thank you!” to our students, staff, and donors for this incredible Wild Rose Dance Fit fundraiser.
The students and staff had so much fun dancing the day away!
With your help, we were able to meet our fundraising goal for this event!
Electronics at School: Phones and SMART Watches
Should we continue to have challenges with Smartwatches we will also ask students to keep them in their backpacks during the school day.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN SCHOOL
Please refer to policy 5:125 Personal Technology and Social Media; Usage and Conduct
Phones/Smart Watches
Students are extended the privilege of possessing phones/smartwatches on school grounds; however, their use is limited to after-school dismissal and non-school days. These devices must be in the off position on school grounds, including bus transportation.
As adults you know that you can contact the office in case of an emergency or change in schedule for your child. Please refrain from texting and calling your child during the day. Children also text one another from there watches, making their focus drift from instruction.
Please help us keep kids focused on their job of learning.
POLICY FOR ADMINISTERING MEDICINE TO STUDENTS
7:270 Administering Medicines to Students
Students should not take medication during school hours or during school-related activities unless it is necessary for a student's health and well-being. When a student's licensed health care provider and parent/guardian believe that it is necessary for the student to take a medication during school hours or school-related activities, the parent/guardian must request that the school dispense the medication to the child and otherwise follow the District's procedures on dispensing medication.
No School District employee shall administer to any student, or supervise a student's self-administration of, any prescription or non-prescription medication until a completed and signed School Medication Authorization Form (SMA Form) is submitted by the student's parent/guardian. No student shall possess or consume any prescription or non-prescription medication on school grounds or at a school-related function other than as provided for in this policy and its implementing procedures.
Nothing in this policy shall prohibit any school employee from providing emergency assistance to students, including administering medication.
