Cheetah Newsletter November 17, 2023
From the Office
This was an exciting week at Cherrydale with Spirit Week, Recess Takeover, and our PTA Dance-a-thon fundraiser winners! There was our Principal for a Day, Pizza with the Principal, and Ice Cream parties for the top earning classes in each grade.
It was a fun week to be a Cherrydale Cheetah!

Impact Aid - Tuesday Deadline
We only have a few more days to reach 100%!
It is important the district receives one completed form for every student whether or not their parents/guardians live or work on federal property, because each completed form generates revenue for the district.
Paper copies were sent home in Thursday Folders to those who have not responded. Please return the completed and signed form to the school ASAP. Our deadline is Tuesday, November 21.
Note - filling out Section 2 can be confusing. If you say 'No' to being on active duty, choose 'N/A' from the drop down menu for the next 2 questions, Military Rank and Branch of Service. If you have questions, please reach out to the office at 253-983-2500. We are happy to help!
The first K-3 class to reach a 100% return rate will receive an ice cream party with a surprise guest, and all classes with a 100% return rate will receive popsicles.
The results will be announced no later than November 22, 2023.

Although each child should have an extra set of clothes in their backpack, there are still cases when clothes are needed in the health room, especially elastic waistband pants and leggings. If you have any to donate that your kids have outgrown, they would be appreciated.
