Windermere Weekly Update
February 12 - February 16
2 Days Off for Students Coming Up
Mark your calendars! There is no school for students Friday, the 16th and Monday, the 19th.
District Fine Arts Showcase!
We had several students participate in the districts annual fine arts showcase! Thanks to Ms. Wedge (art) and Ms. Darlington (music) for getting our students prepared for the event!
Destination Imagination
Several of our students have worked so hard to be prepared for the DI tournament that was held this weekend. Thank you to our parent volunteers who helped, coached and encouraged these amazing kids! We're so proud that these students achieved 3rd and 4th place. Way to go!
***Destination Imagination® (DI) is a global, volunteer-led nonprofit organization that hosts Team Challenges for students who want to take on the entire creative process—from imagination to innovation. Students participate in DI in 48 states and 30 countries! The program boasts more than one million alumni and 38,000 volunteers worldwide.
Student Council Valentine Party/Dance
Wow! The dance was a huge success! The kids had a blast (and so did our staff). Thank you to the parents who volunteered, to PTO and to our staff who came to help out. It was a fun night!
