Rudolph Gordon School's Weekly Family Communication
Principal's Welcome Letter
Hello Gator Families!
I am thrilled to write this letter of introduction as the new principal of Rudolph Gordon School! I am honored to join a school community that focuses on preparing children to become lifelong learners and responsible, productive citizens by creating meaningful learning experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.
I attended Anderson University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and later, a Master of Education Degree in Administration in Supervision. I later obtained my Education Specialist and Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. I have served in education for 13 years as a classroom teacher and administrator in Spartanburg School District Four, and since 2018, as assistant principal at Oakview Elementary in Greenville County Schools.
My husband, Cory, and I are fortunate to reside in the wonderful community of Fountain Inn with our three children Colt (10), Collier (7), and Ollie (3). Colt and Collier will join me at Rudolph Gordon School this year in 5th and 2nd grade. We spend a lot of time in extracurricular activities, especially those through the Fountain Inn Parks and Recreation Department. I feel sure we will see you there - always feel free to stop me to say hello and introduce yourself!
I wholeheartedly believe ALL means ALL and that every student deserves a high-quality education in learning environments that are student-centered, engaging, and safe. Every decision made at Rudolph Gordon School will ensure that every student has their individual academic, social, and emotional needs met through comprehensive school programs and opportunities. I am committed to working with our staff, families, and the community to ensure every student is successfully prepared for the next step in their education journey.
I look forward to our first school year together as we continue to provide the best possible school for our students. The Gator Greatness that exists at Rudolph Gordon School is so special and without a doubt, I know, the best is yet to come.
