Reading Strategies:
Math: Comparing numbers to 20, number handwriting practice, fluency of addition and subtraction within 5
Writing: Writing our opinions, letter formation (handwriting practice)
Social Studies: Needs and wants
Science: Mystery Science – Weather Watching – Mystery 6: Read along: How could you walk barefoot across hot pavement without burning your feet?
Religion: God chooses Mary, Jesus is born in Bethlehem, Jesus comes for all people, Church Year: Christmas and Epiphany, Telling the Christmas story, singing our prayer, thanking God for Jesus
Social Skill: Following directions
Virtue: Celebration
Social and Emotional Learning: understanding stereotypes about objects, activities, and roles: children discuss how everyone can make choices and that toys, activities, and roles can be for everyone, and practice a way to respond to stereotypes

The fourth annual Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving will begin Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at noon and continue through noon on Wednesday, February 3. We hope these events become more and more successful each year. Watch this page and make sure your school is participating in the Day of Giving!
