Welcome to a new week of growth and opportunities! Thanks for being apart of our village as we continue to motivate, inspire, and educate all students to be college and career ready. We are the Lions, and we'll have it no other way!!!!!!

1). Upcoming Awards Day for Quarter 1: We are inviting our parents to join us for our first quarter Awards Program.

8:15am - 9:15am (1st and 2nd Grade)
9:30am - 10:30am (PreK and Kind.)
November 3
8:15am - 9:15am (3rd and 4th Grade)
9:30am - 10:30am (5th Grade)
Invites will be sent home to students who are receiving awards for Qtr. 1
2. Fall Picture Day
- Nov 7th will be picture day.
- Dec 7 will be reserved for make-ups (students who missed the first day)
- New Photographer: LifeTouch
3. Career Day - November 4th
- We will have our annual "Career Day" on November 4th.
- Students will have the opportunity to speak with different representatives from the community about career choices.
- This event will occur during school hours
4. Election Day - November 8th - No School
5. Veterans Day Program (9am) - November 10th
- Flyers for the Veterans Day program will go home on Monday, Oct. 31st.
- Please return the reserved form, if you are participating in the program.
6. Veterans' Day - November 11th - No School
7. ESTEAM Festival - November 12th
- Lemira will host a "STEAM" booth, under the direction of Ms. Tahara Gipson and Student Council Members.
- The Percussion Ensemble will be the performers for the opening ceremony.
- Time: 10am - 2pm
- Where: Downtown Sumter, Main Street
8. EXACT Path: Students are encouraged to log into EXACT Path daily while at home. They have a dedicated time during the school day to work on their learning paths. However, we do encourage students to continue practicing their "Leveled" skills in their "Reading and Math" learning pathways. Students are recognized bi-weekly for their mastery progress and usage minutes.

PBS SoCal Family Math Activities - PBS SoCal's Family Math program delivers trusted tools and bilingual resources that help families with children ages 2-5 uncover the joy of math in everyday experiences.
PBS Kids for Parents Math Activities To Do At Home - Find ways to play and make it math by exploring fun and educational activities for the whole family online.
