Husky E-News
April 30, 2023
From the Principal
Hillendale families,
Happy "Teacher Appreciation Week!" Although our incredible staff is deserving of our appreciation every day, this week provides an annual opportunity to show everyone on our team just how much we care about them. To all our AMAZING Hillendale staff, "thank you!"
Speaking of appreciation... thank you so much for your incredible generosity at our Party for the Pavilion this past Friday evening helping us achieve (and surpass!) our fundraising goal. This event is truly one of my favorite nights of the year each year. It was so great getting to spend some time with you all! Look for more details about our fundraising success that night in next week's E-News.
As a reminder, the Math PSSA will take place this Monday & Tuesday for 3rd - 5th graders. 4th grade will take the science PSSA this Wednesday and Thursday.
Please join me in wishing all our students involved in the Chester County Special Olympics from Hillendale "good luck" as they compete this Friday. We are all cheering for you!
Have a great week!

Call for Patton Career Fair Participants
On Friday, May 26th (8am-11am), Patton Middle School will be hosting a Career Fair for our 7th grade students. We are looking for parent and community volunteers from various professional and technical careers to speak to our students about their chosen career paths.
The goal of this event is to expose our students to the variety of careers that exist, and to get them thinking about what careers they may be interested in exploring further. This event also serves as part of our K-12 programming to meet the PA standards for Career Education and Work.
If you are interested in participating in the career fair please fill out this form. All interested volunteers will be sent more information regarding the day. If you need more information or have questions, please contact Cara Malone, the 7th grade School Counselor, at cmalone@ucfsd.net or 610-347-2000 ext. 3825.
