Program Area T-shirts for sale - $20 each
KRAI Program Area T-Shirts are now available to order! Please use the following KRAI Program T-Shirt ordering form to indicate which program shirt and size you would like to purchase! All shirts are $20.
Orders will only be collected through Friday, October 13th (End of Day).
This form is only collecting your order, you will pay for the shirt at a later time. Students and parents will pay for the shirts using Rycor and staff members will make a direct payment to the school. Program area teachers will let students know when the fees have been added in Rycor for student and parent orders.

Dear Parents and Families:
On October 18th, 2023, two separate focus groups (elementary and middle/high school) will be conducted virtually via Zoom to provide an opportunity for parents and families to share ideas and thoughts around their vision of the instruction and learning of mathematics. The goal for these focus groups is to gather information from stakeholders providing Pasco County Schools a better understanding of the students' current mathematics experience.
All parents are invited and encouraged to participate; however, taking part in the focus group is voluntary.
All information collected during the focus group meeting will be confidential and all comments will remain anonymous. District Office staff will facilitate the focus group sessions.

Gifted Parent Night
All Pasco County parents of gifted-identified students are invited to join us for an evening of Working Together as our Partners in Education. This year’s gifted parent night will focus on giving parents the opportunity to share and take away ideas that support their gifted learner at home, in school, and in the community. You are extremely important and we wish to provide thorough and timely information. Please understand that teachers are teaching, planning lessons, grading, and tutoring during lunch and planning periods. Oftentimes, they do not get a chance to check emails until the end of the day or first thing the next morning due to the above time constraints. Most of our teachers teach 6 periods, which means they may have 150 to 180 students in total. Please allow our staff 24 hours or the next business day if the message is received on Fridays or during the weekend. Your patience is appreciated.

2-Volunteers needed for Trunk or Treat at Watergrass Elementary School on 10/27 from 3:30-8pm. Assist the PTA and school with running various stations such as face painting, spooky splash tower, boo grams, line control and making sure teacher and staff trunks stay stocked with candy. Electrathon Race

As part of the event we are showing support for Breast Cancer awareness month for October and our #555 will be wearing a new pink wrap for the race. If you do plan on attending you are more than welcome to show your support by wearing pink as well.
Teen Court
Students who are interested in participating in Teen Court- the Application is due to Ms. Kruger no later than Monday, 10/09/23. Please note, in addition to Club Day participation, this will require attendance one Wednesday each month at the Dade City Courthouse for the Juvenile Trails. If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Kruger, the Club Sponsor, via email at jkruger@pasco.k12.fl.us.
Dual Enrollment - Spring 2024
There are important upcoming deadlines for Dual Enrollment registration for the Spring 2024 Term. The first step in this process will be for students to review their GPA. A student needs to have a 3.0 GPA to qualify for dual enrollment. If your student has a 3.0 GPA then they need to submit an application with PHSC. Students will also need to pass the PERT (Reading: 106, Writing: 103, Math 123). Once these steps have been completed then the student will complete their registration worksheet. Once the worksheet is completed, the worksheet will need to be reviewed with their school counselor for approval. Counselor approval will need to be obtained prior to students and parents completing the online terms and conditions and entering course requests. This approval will be completed by Mrs. Sowers. In order to be guaranteed registration during the dates and times specified by PHSC. Students and parents must complete the online terms and conditions and enter their course requests via the dynamic form by October 27th. Please contact Mrs. Sowers. regarding questions you may have.

- Please note that students who are taking an online course for the first time must complete the online readiness course through Canvas. Completion of the PHSC online readiness course is required prior to registering in any online dual enrollment courses. We highly encourage all students to access and complete the online readiness course now.
- Completion of the Student Orientation online is also REQUIRED for ALL DE students. Students who have not completed this course will not be able to register for Spring courses. Visit https://admissions.phsc.edu/start/high-school/dual-enroll/faq to access directions on how to complete the orientation.

10/5 & 10/6 - Nominees will be chosen by students in ELA classes.
10/12- We will announce nominees & they may begin their campaign immediately. No slander of other nominees or bribery will be tolerated & warrants immediate disqualification.
