MASK-OPTIONAL VISITOR POLICY
Fortunately, COVID-19 case numbers within the LPS community have remained very low since the district moved to a "Mask Optional" policy for students and staff on March 7, 2022. As a result, as of April 1, 2022, our masking policy for visitors and spectators transitioned to "Mask Optional" as well. We are no longer requiring masks for visitors or event spectators.
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING: APRIL 5, 2022 (7 p.m.)
The Livingston Board of Education will hold a public meeting tonight, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 7 p.m. The agenda includes student recognitions and a budget status report.
Tonight's meeting will be held in a hybrid format during which participants will have the ability to ask questions and make comments either in person or via the webinar. Those who register to attend in person will be notified of their registration status by email. Register for the webinar using the link below. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the district's Facebook page, @LivSchools.
*Please note that members of the public who wish to attend Board meetings in person are no longer required to register in advance or show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test. In addition, we are no longer requiring masks for Board meetings.

NATIONAL MERIT FINALISTS
All eight of Livingston High School’s National Merit semifinalists have advanced to the finalist stage in the prestigious annual academic competition. LHS principal Danielle Rosenzweig recently presented certificates to the finalists to commemorate this achievement. Read more HERE.
LPS MIDDLE SCHOOLS EXCEL IN NJ MATH LEAGUE COMPETITION
STUDENTS TAKE TOP SPOTS AT REGIONAL SCIENCE FAIR
Over the past few weeks, students in Livingston High School’s Science Program have been competing in the virtual North Jersey Regional Science Fair. The virtual awards ceremony was recently held and three LHS students earned top honors. Find out who HERE!
HMS CHESS TEAM WINS!
The Heritage Middle School Chess Team took “Top Middle School Team Honors” at the 2022 U.S. Amateur Team East Chess Championship, an event sponsored by the NJ State Chess Federation. Shown are team members Roger Zhang, Lev Koganov, Claire Cheng, and Quan Tran.

STUDENT ARTWORK ON DISPLAY
Congratulations to Livingston High School students Ophir Agmoni, Kyle Moy, and Brody Guttenberg for having their artwork accepted into the Morris Museum exhibition, "Fresh Perspectives 2022." The exhibit will be a virtual gallery of work from May 14th through August 28, 2022. Fifty pieces of artwork were chosen from 197 submissions and the attached work was accepted. Kyle Moy and Ophir Admoni are students in Mr. Iannuzzi's AP Digital Imaging classes, while Brody Guttenberg is in a student in Arlene Brown's AP Photo class.
