Springmill STEM Family Update
February 19, 2024
Message from the Principal
Principal's Message
Hello STEM Family!
I hope everyone was able to relax over the long weekend. I know the teachers and staff definitely needed it.
We've had some fun things going on over the past week. Our 4th grade went to Gorman Rupp to learn about making pumps! Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school. See the stories below.
January and February traditional feel like the longest months of the school year, but as soon as we hit March, it will move very quickly. We will be holding our Math STEM night on 3/14 (Pi Day) and STEM night on April 4th. Details will be coming soon!
Please make sure you complete the surveys near the end so we can serve our students and community even better next year!
Sincerely,
Cara Will

ATTENDANCE MATTERS
We have seen some improvement in individual student's attendance, which is fantastic! That is our goal. Students need to be here to learn. Students that miss more than 2 days per week (whether for illness, doctor's, or other) are considered chronically absent. Our goal is to have every student here 90% of the time.

Plans for 2024-2025 School Year
I know it seems early, but we are already starting to plan for next school year! Figuring out how many students will be returning is a huge step and needs to be done before other plans are made. Please take just 1 minute to complete this survey about whether or not you plan for your student(s) to attend STEM next year.
Thank you!
