Who can vote? The Cass County 4-H Council Constitution states: "All 4-H members, leaders and parents of 4-H members are eligible to vote." This includes Clover Kids.

Vote only once.

Applications are now being accepted for the position of 4-H Support Staff at the Nebraska Extension Cass County Office in Weeping Water. This is a full-time County paid position, with some night and weekend hours required. Benefits include Health, Retirement, Vacation, Sick and Holidays.

We are going to have a cake walk at the "Blast from the Past" Achievement Party. If you would like to make a cake, or another sweet treat for the cake walk, please do! We'll need lots of cakes for this game.

A new special interest 4-H club has been formed in Cass County. It's called STEAMrollers. It is a STEAM Club (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and is based out of Plattsmouth, NE. The leader is Margaret Stamp. If you are interested in this kind of club, please contact Margaret at margaretstamp@hotmail.com or call her at 402-312-4289.

It is again time for 4-H Members interested in the cattle industry to apply for the National Western Stock Show Catch-A-Calf program. Currently, Nebraska has 12 participants in the 2019-20 CAC program. It is an educational opportunity that develops skills that will be used throughout their careers.

Applications are online at nationalwestern.com/catch-a-calf-program/ with a signature form that must be completed and sent to NWSS no later than December 1, 2019.
