Volunteer Fairfax recommits to exemplifying the values of equity and inclusion championed by initiatives like One Fairfax and partnering with Fairfax County and area nonprofits to advance its implementation. We want to not only celebrate the growing diversity in our region, but be a leader in promoting greater unity among our diverse populations for the betterment of our community as a whole.

CONNECT: VF Launches Good Connects Us Campaign

To acknowledge and inspire kindness and good deeds, Volunteer Fairfax has launched the #GoodConnectsUs campaign which recognizes citizens connecting with each other through volunteerism. The #GoodConnectsUs campaign will run throughout the summer in an effort to change the map across the region. An interactive map will create a visual display to show how kindness and good works can spread and help us move forward and to heal and grow as a community.

MOBILIZE: Supporting our community during COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Volunteer Fairfax continues to support Fairfax County and its residents by managing virtual or in-person volunteer or donation needs. Our Emergency Response team led by Tejas Patel and Emily Swenson, partner with the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to assist in coordinating emergency mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery services to the residents of Fairfax County along with Fairfax County agencies and partners.
