Homecoming Festivities
Homecoming week was the week of September 18th through the 23rd. Students took part in dress-up days, participated in lunchtime activities, and had the opportunity to attend our Homecoming Football game AND our Homecoming Dance. Our ASB students put in a ton of work and preparation to make the week amazing. Attendance at the football game was stellar and the dance drew over 1300 students! Take a look at a few of the images below.
Celebration of Schools
On Wednesday, September 20th, Beckman High School hosted a 400 person Celebration of Schools dinner for Tustin Public Schools Foundation and their supporters. The dinner raised money for Tustin Public Schools and also served as a showcase for many of Beckman's programs. Our Arts programs were on full display as both the choir and the orchestra performed for attendees and our Visual Arts team put together amazing displays of student work. Additionally, attendees were taken on a tour through our new CTE building where they met our new Engineering teacher Mr. Lanning and learned about VEX Robotics.
VAPA Students of the Month
CTE and Gym/Weightroom Project
If you haven't made your way to the back of campus, now might be a good time to check it out. Our new CTE classrooms are open and serving students and our Gym/Weightroom is nearing completion. The CTE building has a massive Engineering room, a dedicated Robotics space, a Graphic Design room, a "shop," and a large outdoor work yard. The new Gym/Weightroom has a gym and a 3000 square foot weightroom that looks to open in February of 2024. Once the new weightroom opens, we will creae a new wrestling room and a large athleic training room for our Sport Medicine program. Take a look at the images below!
Mental Health Week
Last week we celebrated Mental Health week with several activities throughout the week that emphasized taking care of your mental health. Students were able to make their own fidgets, pet Minnie the therapy dog, grab a free stress ball and many other fun activities.
Adding Color to Campus
Thanks to our PTO, we have been able to add a little color around campus with more still to come. It's amazing how much these new murals add character to campus. Thank you PTO!
