Christmas Dominoes
Christmas Dominoes with cereal boxes
We need your donations of boxes of cereal! Using the boxes, on December 16th, we will create a line of "dominoes" in the gym at WES and then "Let them fall!"
Please have all the donations at the school by December 15, 2020.
Donations can be dropped off on Monday during Grab and Go lunches or at the front of school.
Parents, take a picture of your child donating cereal and send it to Mrs. Carey @ j.carey@eatonville.wednet.edu for a chance to be in the newsletter.
All cereal boxes will be donated to the Eatonville Food Bank.

Free and Reduced Meal Application
Originally “Free & Reduced” forms were due October, 15th, however, there has been an extension. Meal forms are now accepted throughout this school year.
We strongly encourage all parents/guardians to submit a Meal Application.
Completing an application takes less than 10 minutes, and parents only need to complete one Meal Application.
Many funding sources for schools are based on free and reduced numbers.
If you are receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/TANF/FDPIR) benefits, your child automatically qualifies for free school meals.
Please follow these steps to complete the form electronically:
1. Go to the district website https://www.eatonville.wednet.edu/
2. Scroll over the “Families” box at the top of the page. Click on "Skyward Family Access."
3. You should now see a login page. In the drop down menu towards the bottom, make sure you click on family/student access.
4. If you do not know your Login ID and Password, please check with the secretary at your child's school.
5. On the left blue bar in Family Access, click the section titled, "Required Data Collection 20-21 School Year."

Child Find Notice
-Does your child have a medical disorder or birth defect that interferes with their development?
-Does the child seem to have hearing or vision issues?
-Does your child have difficulty communicating with people outside the family?
-Does your child have difficulty keep up with other children their age?
-Does your child have concerning behaviors?
Any child, birth to five, whose family or caregivers would like more information about their child's development can contact the Eatonville School District to receive a FREE Child Find Screening.
What happens during a Child Find Screening?
-The purpose of a Child Find Screening is to identify issues that may affect your child's learning, growth and development and to help parents identify their child's strengths and weaknesses.
-During the screening, your child may stack small blocks, cut with scissors, draw, count, name colors, jump and have fun!
-After the screening, someone will talk with you about the results and you may be given suggestions, a referral for more testing or scheduled to have the skills rechecked at a later time. You will have the chance to ask any questions about your child's development. The whole process will take one hour.
Where can I get my child screened?
For more information and to schedule a screening in your school district, please contact: Eatonville School District, Student Services Office at 360-879-1800. If your family is living in a temporary situation, you may contact the district where you are currently staying for a screening.
WAC 393-172A-02040 School Districts shall conduct Child Find activities calculated to reach all students with a suspected disability for the purpose of locating, evaluating and identifying students who are in need of special education and/or related services, regardless of the severity of their disability
