Weekly Update

May Sands Montessori will have a float in the Hometown Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 2.

Students will be working on float decorations during aftercare this week and we encourage parents to come and help from 4-5:30pm everyday this week. This is a great chance to earn service hours! Spots on the float are being reserved for those that help with the float preparation and assembly. Space on the float is limited to those who are assisting with the float (maximum of 20 people). If you still want to participate in the parade there will be plenty of space to walk, bike or ride next to the float.

***At least one adult must accompany any children who are going to ride on the float or walk in the parade.***

Register Now for this year's Montessori United 5K & Kids Fun Run happening THIS Sunday, December 3, 2023.

First 100 registrants will get a t-shirt.

All registrants 21 and over will receive a free beer coupon for Ocean Fest, happening immediately after the 5K at Truman Waterfront.

New Course this year at Truman Waterfront Park.

Also new this year, VIP Spectator tickets - get to sit in the shade by the Finish Line to watch the race. Enjoy a mimosa and light breakfast!

Run, walk or stroll! 5K starts a 8am. Location Truman Waterfront Park.

Kids 1/2 mile and 1 mile Fun Runs start at 9am.

May Sands Montessori has 2 Conch Trains reserved for the Holiday Lights tour on Tuesday, Dec 5 at 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased HERE.

We will have hot cocoa, sweet treats and pictures with Santa at the school beginning at 5pm and trains will begin boarding at 6:15 pm.

This annual event will sell out, so grab your tickets early.

Please log into the Parent Portal on the MCSD site to complete this survey for each student. Our school receives funding based on the results of this survey, so please fill it out even if it doesn't seem to apply to you.
