Supplies Needed!
More and more students seem to be coming to school without a pencil each day and my supplies have become depleted. If you are able to donate sharpened pencils for us to use, we would greatly appreciate it! We are also in need of Clorox/Lysol wipes to help keep our desks and other supplies germ free. Here is my Amazon wish list if that is easier for you. Thank you for helping us stay busy and healthy! https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/UB6JAVJ6Z4CD?ref_=wl_share

8th grade Honors Enhanced Algebra for Advanced Students
Current 7th grade Advanced math students wishing to move forward into the Enhanced Algebra course in 8th grade for high school credit will need to have 3 out of the 4 criteria listed below:
- 90% or higher in 7th grade Advanced Math
- Advanced on the end of year Growth Measure (April)
- Level 4 on the GA Milestone
- Teacher Recommendation
This information has been shared with your student and they are aware of the criteria. Enhanced Algebra combines both 8th and 9th grade math and is a very fast-paced course. The criteria listed above has been developed so that we send students who are most appropriately prepared. Since this course is for high school credit and counts towards the high school GPA, we do not want to set students up for failure. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Current 7th grade students wishing to move into the Enhanced Algebra course and are not currently in Advanced math will have the same criteria with the exception of the class average. These students will need to have a 95% average in on-level 7th grade math for consideration.
