Upcoming Greenspire Community Events
Wed., Oct. 16th 6:00pm, A Case For Love Documentary and Panel Discussion - Miliken Auditorium
Our society is more divided than ever, especially in this election year. Many have moved into viewing the world from an “us versus them” point of view. This divisiveness creates a laundry list of issues for individuals: loss of sense of community and belonging, mental health problems (anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide), fear, prejudice, and hatred, to name a few. The inspirational documentary A Case for Love presents the viewer with the information necessary to determine if living life more selflessly can cause positive change in themselves, in others, and throughout society.
The tickets are free! Register HERE to attend.
Panelists:
Brian Ide, the Director and Co-Producer (from LA)
Reverend Jim Perra, of Grace Episcopal
Marty Oleson Watts, Chair of the Oleson Foundation
Erica Walsh, Principal of Greenspire High School
Julie Delezenne, Sr. Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of TC, will serve as Moderator
