Chelsea is an experienced program director and educator with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry, outdoor classroom environments and in k-12 classrooms. She is skilled in Classroom Instruction, Field Studies, Facilitation, Environmental Awareness, Staff Development, Program Development, and Project Management. Chelsea is a strong professional with a Bachelor's degree focused in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services, and Administration focused on Outdoor Education from Central Michigan University. We are BEYOND THRILLED to have her at GHS.

We will soon have a sturgeon (Nmé) in the house! We are looking for families who are interested in helping with sturgeon care throughout the year on periodic weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities require about a 20 minute stop at the school to siphon the aquarium, top off the sump tank and feed the sturgeon.

We will plan a short, after school training session in the coming weeks to show you the ins and outs of sturgeon maintenance.

The GHS National Honor Society Chapter focuses on Environmental Preservation efforts throughout the school year. Each member must sustain a 3.5 GPA or above, while regularly demonstrating scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Each Spring, the GHS National Honor Society holds their induction ceremony for qualifying 10th grade students.

Join the Steel Sturgeon Robotics team! We are always looking for team members who enjoy robots, programming, marketing, and fundraising! We practice/build at our own warehouse near GHS!
