THANK YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL GHS COMMUNITY for following our traffic dismissal procedures and exiting via the Greenspire Egress! In order to continue to expedite this process, please make every attempt to turn RIGHT onto CASS RD to keep the line flowing along Dendrinos Drive. This is the fasted way to exit everyone in a safe manner. We know that this is not ideal for everyone, but it saves time for the entire community if we all work together.

A Piece of GHS History- In 2021, Wyatt Anderson, a GHS student, suggested that NMC create a Greenspire exit driveway in order to avoid the problems we were having with our carline and our NMC partners. By the fall of 2022, NMC administration gifted GHS with our very own exit driveway in the spot that Wyatt suggested! As a part of this project, GHS would be required to use this driveway for dismissal each day. Wyatt is now graduated, but still believes we should have named the driveway, "Wyatt Avenue."

Reminder- ALL students must submit a new technology agreement before they can receive their student computer for the school year! Download the agreement below!

All students who have submitted their agreements should now have their MacBook Air devices! Thank you to Coreene for all of her work to ensure that all students have access to high quality technology for learning. Students received an email this week discussing how to determine what size case to order, if they do not wish to use the school provided cases/covers.

As a reminder, students MAY NOT draw or stick anything directly onto their Macbook Air. They may draw/place stickers on their hard covers.

Remember that cell phones must be turned off and stowed away in a backpack or locker. If we see it, we will confiscate it until 3:45. Students did an EXCELLENT job of following this rule during the first week of school!

Thank you ALL for being so conscientious about picking up your garbage during/after lunch last week. The NMC cleaning crew was very impressed by your maturity and cleanliness last week.

Please remember that we have a new policy on Door Dash this year. Door Dash/Uber Eats are NOT allowed anymore, due to it becoming a distraction for our University Center partners on the first floor. Door Dashers are usually confused about our location and became increasingly bothersome to our UC partners last school year.

TACO TUESDAY, 9/9: TC Taqueria during lunch- $5.00 to purchase a meal! They will be located in the Conservatory! Be aware that there is a long line!!! We will do our best to serve everyone!

PIZZA THURSDAY, 9/11: Pizza Day with That's A Pizza! 2.00 per slice

(Pepperoni, Cheese, or GF Cheese).

David Peck, Social Studies and English Language Arts

David is a 20+ year teaching veteran who currently teaches in the evenings in the NMC Extended Education department. He is excited to start his journey with GHS and remain on staff with NMC!

Jason Teichman is an NMC adjunct professor in mathematics and physics (20+ years). He also owns Northern Academics Tutoring Center on Barlow. He is excited to start his journey with GHS and remain an adjunct with NMC!
