Dear GHS Community,
The long awaited GHS Paddle Program will begin THIS SPRING on the Boardman Lake. Students will be able to Kayak during Outdoor PE and NER classes with staff members Chelsea Hummon and Mike Schramm. NMC and GHS have been working together for the past two months to ensure that this program follows all legal and safety requirements necessary to run a program of this kind. We may even start a kayaking club once the weather breaks this spring! Thank you to Dr. Michael Schramm, Jason Slade (NMC), and Chelsea Hummon (NER/OPE teacher).

Teacher Gift Card Tree
Calling All Families: Help Us Celebrate Our Amazing Staff!
This holiday season, we’re creating a Gift Card Tree to show our appreciation for our incredible staff. Instead of individual gifts, we’re asking families to send in gift cards of any amount to brighten our teachers’ holidays.
Some ideas include:
Local favorites like Chef's In, Spanglish, Oryana, or Cuppa Joe
Retailers like Target or Meijer
Gas cards for their holiday travels
Please drop off your contributions at the school office by December 17th. Let’s come together to make this holiday season extra special for the people who make such a difference every day! Thank you for your generosity!
NER Skill Building Adventure Trip!
Attention ALL NER students! Please prepare for an upcoming field trip on December 17th from 9am-3pm to learn how to build a campfire! You will be traveling to the Optimist Club Property at Chums Corner.
