Weekly Certificates
Congratulations to all of our certificate recipients for Week 3.
Rippa Rugby Qualifying Tournament
Stanley Ave was represented by four teams consisting of Year 5-6 Girls and Boys and Year 7-8 Girls and Boys. Only two teams could qualify from each division. Some quality Rippa Rugby was on display with fast determined running, slick passing and determined defence.
It’s pleasing to announce that all four of our Stanley Ave teams have made it through to the Thames Valley finals. Special mention should be made of our Year 7/8 Girls teams that beat a strong St Joseph’s side in the qualifying final. Please note not all divisions had finals.
I would like to acknowledge Dave Wood, Kristina Watts, Whaea Sammi, Jay Werahiko and Karl House who assisted with the coaching and managing of the teams. Additionally, it was great to see a strong support crew on the sidelines. We greatly look forward to the Thames Valley Championship. The date for this is still to be confirmed.

Matariki Breakfast 21st July Term 3
Every year at Stanley Avenue School we celebrate Matariki, which ends with a culminating activity where we involve our school community. This year we are planning a Matariki Breakfast on Friday 21st July (Week 1 Term 3).

We are currently seeking sponsorship from our school and wider community, to support us with this event. If you are a part of any business or family who might like to support us in any way, please feel free to contact Chris Finucane/Assistant Principal, or John Byers/ Principal.
Any assistance would be gratefully received.
