Hawk Talk - Weekly Principal Notes
A weekly newsletter to keep Hawks Nation informed
Welcome to Hawk Talk
Welcome Hawks Nation to the Hawk Talk newsletter, a publication to keep you abreast of what is happening in and out of our school. I want to take the time to, again, welcome parents, students, and community members to the start of the 2023-24 school year. It has been a feverish and exciting start. This year we have a "Full House" with all grade levels represented in our building. We are riding the exciting wave of having our first ever graduating class. SHOUT OUT TO THE CLASS OF 2024!!! It has been fun getting to know our students and working to continue a culture of pride and positive relationships.
Out Motto this school year is Together We R.I.S.E. RISE is an acronym that stands for:
Respect Everyone
Inspire Others
Show Grit
Excel in all that you do
I truly believe that collectively we're better, stronger, and smarter than we would be if we operated in silos. I also believe that together we can learn to respect differences, we can learn to be an inspiration, that perseverance and resilience becomes a part of our fabric, and that together we never settle for less. We strive for excellence! I ask you to join our efforts in RISING above mediocrity and things that seek to take us from the work of loving and caring for all of our students.
Parents, please feel free to reach out to any administrator. Our priority is your student. Below is a breakdown of the administrative assignments by grade level:
Ms. Vanessa Guzman - Grades 9 and 10
Mr. Shawn Garrett - Grades 11 and 12
Should you have any concerns and need to set up a conference, please reach out to the teacher first and include the grade level administrator to be part of that conversation (if necessary).
We look forward to a spirited school year! Please let us know how we can improve as we seek to be the best school for your student!
Sincerely,
Dr. Randy St.Clair

Seaforth Earns School Performance Grade of B
For the second consecutive year, Seaforth High School has earned a School Performance Grade of B as determined by student test results. We also MET growth expectations. We are proud of our students and teachers for their efforts in maintaining high expectations and excellent performance. This year our goal is to EXCEED growth expectations, have a 90% or better graduation cohort rate, and earn A status as a School Performance Grade.
