Welcome Back!

We hope you and your family had a wonderful and safe holiday. This month our students will participate in various mid year assessments. We use our mid year assessments to guide our instruction. We look at areas of "Glow" and "Grow" to identify next steps for our students. Our goal is to continue to provide our students with rigorous and engaging instruction.

As the weather becomes colder, please be sure to send students with their coats and outdoor gear. We take many factors into consideration when determining if we will go out for recess (temperature, wind, rain, and snow). However, we try to go out for recess as often as possible. Be sure to include your child's name on their coats and/or outdoor gear. Our lost and found is located in the Lido main lobby.

When visiting our school for class events such as a publishing party, craft activity, or birthday celebration be sure to bring your ID and confirm the time with your child's teacher. If you would like to take your child home after the class event, please return to the security booth and sign your child out of school. The security guard would notify the main office and we will bring the student to the security booth. Remember this is for the safety of our students and staff. We appreciate all of your support!!

This month the Prek and Lido PTA will host a PTA meeting. Please see the information listed below.

Drop Off Lane:

When you come to the drop off lane, be sure to let your child/children exit your car on the curb side (right side). You cannot park and leave your car in the drop off lane. Please do not double park or create two drop lanes, near the drop off lane for the safety of students and staff. If you would like to walk your child/children to school please park your car in the parking lot.

Dismissal:

As a friendly reminder, please be sure to stand in the walker zone during dismissal. Students will not be allowed to walk to the parking lot area without an adult. We also ask that students are not taken off their line without notifying their teacher first for the safety of all students.

Visiting Lido:

Whether you are visiting our school, heading to the nurses office, or need to do an early pick-up, please be sure to go to our security in our main entrances and bring photo ID.

Our Elementary Enrichment Program begins Tuesday, January 17th from 3:40 PM - 4:40 PM. Letters will go home the week of January 9th.
