There's Still Time
We have had 21% of our families respond to the 5 Essentials Parent Survey. We would love to have as many families as possible provide their input. Your responses are anonymous. Please take only a few moments to complete so we can use the feedback to make important decisions at Churchill.
Mask Update and Reminders
Our school board recently passed a mask recommended policy which will be in place starting Monday, February 28th. Please note:
- Masks are required on bus transportation to and from school.
- Masks are required for band, choir, orchestra activities and general music activities.
- It will be helpful, regardless of choice to wear or not wear a mask, for ALL students to have an extra in their backpacks for the above reasons. As we make this change, we will provide one for those who forget and are engaging in these activities.
We have shared with our students the importance of being considerate and respectful of everyone's personal choice to wear or not wear a mask. We would encourage all families to think about their decision and to discuss this matter with their child. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns as we implement this change. We will continue our other mitigations - handwashing/sanitizing, distancing, testing, cleaning, etc.
Arrival and Dismissal
A quick note to bring your attention to additional signage reminding families that our staff parking lot to the west of our building is off limits for student arrival and dismissal. Please do not use this area for student drop off or pick up. To help with congestion, we have asked all families to use the carline as instructed moving south on Center and/or to use side streets that are to the south of 190th street.
