New Year Procedures
Teachers must re-register each year before logging on, as all TeacherPortal non-administrative user accounts are deleted at the end of each school year.
To register, you must provide your staff ID and name. You must be associated with the district for the current school year. Upon registering, you will create your user name, password, and PIN.
A staff ID can be associated with multiple user accounts, which allows you to have both a teacher account and one or more administrator accounts. The user name must be different for each account.
IMPORTANT: Upon initial account creation or log on to the portal, the End User License Agreement (EULA) for ASCENDER is displayed. Users must accept the agreement in order to proceed.

Implementing TEKS Resources - Pacing Guides
Provide teachers pacing suggestions when planning from the IFD.
Phase of Use:
Implementation and Ongoing
Intent to Support: Teachers often struggle with the volume of information that is in the IFD. Pacing Tools chunk out the learning which results in more efficient lesson planning. All Pacing Tools are anchored by the Performance Assessments.
Additional Tips:
All Pacing Tools include formative assessment options as well as places for teachers to add their own instructional notes and resources. Because the Pacing Tools are google docs, they can be copied and edited if teachers want to use these as their lesson plan guide.
TExGuides
SISD staff may visit texguide.net and select Shelbyville ISD in order to access the site.
TExGUIDE
TExGUIDE provides teachers with a bridge between curriculum, aligned resources, and instructional planning. This increases the efficiency and quality of lesson planning for teachers, which directly impacts student learning outcomes.
TExGUIDE is aligned with TEKS Resource System curriculum, including the scope and sequence of instructional units. Each guide includes:
Unit overview and key understandings.
Unit vocabulary with corresponding activities.
Student expectations aligned with engagement activities, external resources, and formative assessments.
