PSJA 2020 Summer Readers
Congratulations to all our Bright Summer Readers! This year's winners were recognized on Wednesday, Nov. 4th, in a virtual award ceremony . Once again Mrs. Nora Galvan, library director, did an excellent job moderating our 26th Bright Summer Readers/PSJA READS event. This year's theme was "Reading Without Borders". Thank you Mrs. Galvan for all you do for all our P.S.J.A. students.

Congratulations to Austin Middle School's six students that participated in this past summers P.S.J.A. READS WOKE CHALLENGE. Texas Library Standards: 3.1.0 The library encourages students to read a variety of literature for information and pleasure. The library provides access to physical and virtual collections of high quality, current resources in a variety of formats (print, audio, electronic) and platforms (readable on most devices) which reflect input from stakeholders.

MackinVia - Library Resource of the Month
During library class, Mrs. Rodriguez reviewed steps on how to create student accounts/backpacks and gave an overview of the resources found in MackinVia. Attached is a link to a screencastify recording going over this excellent library resource.
