Jan. 4th: PSJA Innovative Skills Seminar/ Session#87 Using Adobe Spark
Strand 6: Leadership
Dimension 1: The school library program incorporates leadership, best practices, and professional development across campus, and district.
Belinda Rodriguez and I presented in PSJA Innovative Skills Seminar for Administrative & Instructional Support Staff on Jan. 4th. We presented Session #87 Using Adobe Spark. We enjoyed teaching paraprofessionals, and clerks on how to use Adobe Spark in their field.

Fractured Fairy Tales

Bear Book Club Readers came to read to RME students! Two of the three readers were past RME students themselves. We are so proud of you two Jorge, and Josiah! Thank you too to Analyce former Doedyns student as well! Thank you to their librarian Mrs. Lugo for enriching our students life!
School Board Member Appreciation Month

I helped coordinate for the School Board Member Appreciation Virtual Celebration. We thanked Mr. Zambrano for all he does for our students and staff. He also conducted a read aloud to our RME students. He read I am Peace by Susan Verde.
World Read Aloud Day at RME

RME Celebrated World Read Aloud Day! Students from different grade levels had people from our community read them awesome story!
Thank you to Kaycee Martinez and Suehey Leos from Memorial Early College High School for coming to read to our 3rd to 5th grade students today! We had over 95 participants! A special thanks to their librarian Mrs. Garza for help in coordinating it!
Thank you to State Representative District 39 Armando Martinez for reading to our 2nd grade students! Thank you to Eduardo Cantu, Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Commissioner for reading to our Pre-K 3 students! Thank you Dr. Cuevas, UTPA professor for reading to our Pre-K 4 students! Thank you to Daisy Bravo, 2nd grade student at RME for reading to our Kinder students! Thank you to all the staff who participated in World Read Aloud Day!

PSJA Reading Laureate Program

I challenge all the RME students to try and reach their grade level Reading Laureate Degree. This will impact students fluency and overall achievement. The Reading Laureate Program honors students in PSJA based on the amount of words read. Good luck! I know you can achieve it! Go Dolphins! Keep Reading!
