Welcome to a New Week
Trimester 2 has officially ended, isn't that hard to believe?! Report cards will be distributed by Thursday to be available for parent-teacher conferences on Friday. If your parent-teacher conference is before Friday, they will not be ready. We will also send a paper copy home with students.
Friday, March 24, is parent-teacher conference day, and there is no school for students.
Some families have reached out about the calendar for the next school year, it is in its final stages of approval, and we should be able to release that soon. Additionally, summer camp information should start being released to families shortly. Please email summerfun@gisu.org for information.
In the next few weeks, I will survey all GIS families and incoming Kindergarten families to gather information about what has gone well this year, your hopes for next year, and anything else you want me to know. I'm in full-swing preparation for next year and value your input. Keep an eye on this newsletter and your email for more information.
This past week we implemented our fresh fruit and veggies program, and we're excited to have fresh fruits and veggies five days a week in classrooms!
