Dear Catholic East Elementary Families,

Happy New Year! I trust this message finds you well and that you enjoyed a restful and joyful Christmas break filled with connection and blessings. As we return to school, we look forward to an exciting start to the new year with engaging activities and celebrations.

Next week, we're kicking off the new year with a bit of fun – it's Pajama Day on Friday! We encourage scholars and staff to come to school in their coziest and most festive pajamas for a day of comfort and relaxation.

But that's not all! We're also thrilled to celebrate our scholars who have been diligent with their ELA and Math tech work. Those who are up to date on both their ELA tech (Lexia & iReady) and Math tech (Zearn & Aleks) will be treated to a Tech Party on Friday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Get ready for some fantastic dance moves as we showcase our academic excellence in a unique and fun way.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday for a fantastic start to the new year.

I want to express our sincere gratitude to all the families who participated in the Family Advent Bingo over the break. It was heartwarming to see the enthusiasm and joy shared among our school community.

I am thrilled to announce that the Flattery family emerged as the winners of the Pizza with the Priest team! Congratulations to the Flattery family on this well-deserved achievement. Your active participation and spirit in the Family Advent Bingo have not only brought joy to your household but have also added a special touch to our school community.
