Letter from the Principal
This week was a short but FULL week!
Your students kicked off the week with a Halloween Parade and Party! Thank you to all the parent volunteers; as I walked around to each classroom the students were truly enjoying themselves.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for parent teacher conferences, it was great to see so many faces in the building. As always if you ever have concerns please reach out to your child's teacher through email.
ARE YOU READY...
St. Teresa's Veterans Day Assembly is Thursday, November 10th at 1:50 pm. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you plan on attending we ask that you please fill out the Veterans Day Assembly Sign Up LINK so we can ensure we have enough seats! Please enter through the gym doors closest to the playground.
Enjoy your weekend and as always we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership
Sincerely,
Nicole Green
Principal

LUNCH:
For the 2022 – 2023 school year, schools are required to return to charging for school meals. The program flexibility provided by the federal government has expired; therefore, meals are no longer free. St. Teresa School is accepting payment through FACTS. Parents can deposit money for meals in their FACTS Management Account.
Lunch Costs: School lunches will cost $3.35 per lunch this year with milk costing $0.70. This year students from Kindergarten to 8th grade will have four lunch choices; two rotating choices, a salad, or a sandwich.
Snacks will be available for on the spot cash purchase for 5th - 8th grade.
PreK will have three lunch choices; two rotating choices, or a sandwich.
St. Teresa School does not permit food deliveries from vendors such as DoorDash, UberEats, restaurant delivery, etc. If a fast food item is dropped off for your student to eat at school, they will be asked to eat it in the office.
Dress Code
Students are allowed to wear ANY COLOR spirit wear on Fridays. All spirit wear must be in good taste and say St. Teresa School on it.
Ensure you are following the Student Handbook for Dress Code
This is a reminder that students should be wearing a white polo on Wednesday for Mass.

Inclement Weather Plan
IS SCHOOL CLOSED?
Closure of St. Teresa School will be shared FIRST on the St. Teresa School website and on official St. Teresa social media within minutes of the decision.
For the 2022-2023 school year St. Teresa School will be following District 118 closure policy.
If District 118 is closed due to inclement weather, St. Teresa's will also be closed.
For the 2022-2023 school year there will be no "remote learning" days.
As children we all looked forward to the fun of a "snow day."
All "snow days" will be made up at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
