Attention all students and families!
Our Lost and Found is overflowing with an array of coats and jackets, waiting to be reclaimed. To make it easier for you to spot any missing items, we will be displaying these lost garments on the fence in front of the school on K Street on December 18th and December 19th. Please be sure to take a moment to check if any of these belong to you or your family. Let's find these lost items their rightful homes!

Hill Family Biking - Tiny Streets Ride
Hill Family Biking is a group of neighbors and friends supporting families to ride bikes around Capitol Hill and surrounding areas in DC. They advocate for and applaud improving street safety infrastructure to make the streets safer for all. Everyone is welcome.
They will be riding down some of the most iconic streets on the Hill — one-block streets (aka "tiny streets"). Starting on a tiny street (12th Pl NE) at the Maury Elementary parking lot, they weave their way to eight other tiny streets before ending at P.S. Mercantile for some hot chocolate, coffee and other treats. The entire ride is about 4.5 miles.
They will have volunteers marshaling to ensure the group stays together. MPD bike team will also be participating in the ride to connect officers with the community. If your family’s bikes need some TLC, please come 15 minutes early to get some assistance. There will be bike maintenance tools available, as well as some experienced amateur bike mechanics on hand to assist. All independent riders must have 1-2 years of riding experience.
Save the Date for the DC Camp Fair!

It’s your chance to visit camp exhibitors representing a wide variety of summer activities, ranging from traditional camps to academic, arts, music, sports, early childhood, and special interest camps. We get camps from in and around Capitol Hill and the DC metro area, as well as some representatives from sleepaway camps farther afield.
