This Week
- The Community Center Pool will be closed for 2 weeks (11/13-24) to change out one of the play features, they are interchangeable with the Splash Park, to repair the heat exchangers on the boiler & see if the ongoing problem with pool temperature can be corrected under warranty; converting the chlorindation system to salt chlorindation for both the indoor & outdoor pools as a healthier & cost effective system.
- Clay County Sheriff's Office will recognize Ava Donegal for Valor on 11/17 preceding their Citizen's Academy Graduation.
- Hall of Waters work is complete on the North terrace, next week work will focus on the joist/beam foundation in basement, shoring in the basement is complete; started demolition underneath water bar, will be sounding concrete this week.
- Fire Department is gearing up for their 2nd Season of Hope Toy Drive. Last year was amazing.
- The Historic Preservation Commission traveled to JC this week for commissioner training. The Commission received a Certificate of Award for 30 years as a Certified Local Government. CLG provides support for communities that use preservation as economic development.
