Update and Upcoming Events

Hello PLES!


Thank you Mr. Byrnes, Mr. Smith, Mr. Luke, Mr. Quintino and Mr. El-Amraoui for being our Watch D.O.G.S. today!


Exact Path testing will continue next week. We are looking forward to seeing how much our students have grown this year!


With warmer weather here, please remember that sneakers and closed toe shoes are best for students. Please refrain from sending students to school on PE days in crocs, flip flops, or slides for safety reasons.


To help with the transition to AGIS, first and second grade students will have opportunities during the rest of this school year to go to AGIS, meet the principals, and tour the school. The information session is next week. Please see the flyer below.

There is no school for students on Monday, 5/29.

Learning Spotlight

Over the past few weeks in Mrs. J's Kindergarten class, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes in math and studying the lifecycle of a butterfly through observing our very own caterpillars for our Science Unit. We wrapped up our shape unit in math through the creation of a shape butterfly. Students colored, cut, pasted, and counted the shapes for their butterfly. Students had so much fun showing what they know about a butterfly's wing symmetry and their knowledge of identifying two dimensional shapes.

PTA Update

  • Thank you to everyone who attended the general meeting last night!

  • Back by popular demand, we have partnered again with 1st Day School Supplies to provide a quick and easy way to get all required school supplies for the next school year! It is a super convenient way to get all the top and trusted branded school supplies without needing to shop around in the summer. The supplies are shipped to your home prior to the start of school and a portion of the sales is returned to the Penn London PTA to help fund programs for our students!

Student Resources and Supports


  • If your student has been sent home in borrowed clothes from the nurse, please wash and return them as soon as possible.
  • Thank you for your donations to the clothes supply in the nurse's office! We appreciate your generosity!
