Welcome:
Letter From The CEO:
July 1st marks the midpoint of our Summer Learning Initiative activities. Family events will continue to run every Wednesday at 2:00 for the month of July. These events are drop-in, no registration required, and we meet at the New Freedom Outreach Center at 250 Mountain Ave because they have room for all of us (and A/C).
Teen and tween events also continue through the end of the month. Our teens and tweens meet at the library at 2:00 each Thursday, and registration is required so that we have enough supplies.
For those of you tracking your reading or project goals, this is the month to work on wrapping things up. We’ll accept drawing tickets and give out prizes through the first bit of August, then we’re through for the summer. Bring in your reading logs and punch cards!
Don’t forget that the library will be closed Monday, July 4, for Independence Day.
Stay cool everyone!
Amie P.
Library CEO
