Join Run Club!

Students are invited to get their blood flowing before school starts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Doors open at 7:40am to run on the soccer turf field. We warm up, stretch, and get our cardio going to some motivational beats.

Fill out this permission slip for your student(s). Every runner is given a scanner card and we track all their runs.

Let the Battle (of the Books) Begin!

Third, fourth, and fifth graders: Here’s a book club for you! Read books throughout the year with your Washington Explorers peers. In the spring, demonstrate your abilities and test your knowledge of the books in a fun, interactive, and lively “battle” event and represent Washington at the Redondo Beach District Battle of the Books.

After a HOT week, the PTA sold otter pops after school on Friday, September 1! What a fun way to head into a long weekend. Thanks to everyone who participated! PTA raised $600 that will go toward this year's programs and events. We've heard the requests for more and we'll do it again soon!
