November Update
Happy November Roosevelt Parents,
Thank you for your attendance at our Parent Teacher Conferences. Both students and staff were proud to show you the results of their hard work over the first quarter. At Roosevelt Elementary we are dedicated to learning to lean on each other this year. This includes building more positive relationships between parents and teachers. Research shows that when a partnership approach between parents and teachers is evident, children’s work habits, attitudes about school, and grades improve. They demonstrate better social skills, fewer behavioral problems, and a greater ability to adapt to situations and get along. And, parents and teachers benefit, too. When working together as partners, it’s been found that parents and teachers communicate more effectively, develop stronger relationships with one another and develop skills to support children’s behaviors and learning.
November will be a month to celebrate being thankful here at Roosevelt. We will participate in several activities that help students to focus on all the reasons that they may have to be grateful. We will also dedicate time to learning about and honoring our Veterans. Please consider joining us for our Veterans Breakfast on November 10th.
Thank you for sharing your students with us and for your continued support. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
