Library Learning Commons News
We would be remiss if we failed to mention St. Patrick's Day at AES. Our K-1-2 students all made leprechauns with the only direction being "Make a leprechaun!" The results were fantastic. There is so much creativity with our young students..
Our 3rd and 4th grade students are starting a unit on Digital Citizenship and the importance of being safe while using proper etiquette on their computers. This unit is being balanced by learning coding. Coding is using "computer talk". There's nothing more literal than a computer! Curious...If a robot speaks into a fan, does it sound like a human?

Students will receive up to 3 hours of academic support daily from ConVal Certified Teachers. Time for snacks and breaks will be included in the 3 hours. A portion of the program will be dedicated to partnering with our local community to promote student learning. Francestown families note that Title 1 Programming is only available for students who have received Title 1 services during the school year.
Both programs are free of charge, and registration is open to all. As we anticipate great demand, enrollment will be prioritized based on need, working in partnership with schools to ensure that we offer summer learning opportunities for as many students as possible.
