NOVEMBER 15, 2023 - NEWSLETTER
Hello Northpoint Families!
It’s hard to believe but next week is already Thanksgiving. Seems like just yesterday everyone was walking in on their first day of school! Please remember, next week is a short week. There is no school Thursday, November 23 or Friday, November 24.
Thanksgiving break also means that the end of the trimester is just around the corner. As always, we’re maximizing the time we have with students to meet learning competencies. One example of this – in Ms. Phillippo’s room, they completed their informative paragraph about Jane Goodall and then used an app called Chatterpix to put student voice to their writing and share with families!
After the Thanksgiving weekend, we return for the last week of the trimester. At Northpoint, this week will look very similar to every week. After the trimester ends, staff will be working to report on each student’s progress in the competencies they have addressed so far this year. We will have more information about progress reporting in the coming weeks.
