Welcome Back
The first FULL week of school is in the books! It has been wonderful getting to know your children. We are so excited that they are here. Students and teachers have spent the week building relationships, practicing routines and procedures, and building back their stamina in reading and writing. We are so happy to be back in school!
A Shout-Out to Our Amazing Staff!
Our incredible staff worked tirelessly to prepare for the start of the school year. They have worked late nights and weekends in order to ensure that they were ready, the room was beautiful, and it was a smooth start to the school year. As I walked into classrooms this week, I have observed incredible conversations designed to build relationships and create a warm and welcoming classroom climate.
I’m sure you have heard many fun snippets from your child about their day. If you have a moment, please feel free to share with your child’s teacher some of the fun things that have been shared at home via email, or have your child write a card or draw a picture for their teacher as a token of appreciation. I know it would make their day!
