CM2/5th Grade Promotion
We are very proud of our Class of 2021 5th graders! We honored our students this week and celebrated with their families. Thank you to our dedicated families who have shared these wonderful students with us. We also would like to extend a big congrats and appreciation to our faculty who have taught them along the way and especially to this year's teaching team: Ms. Virginie, Mr. Cedric, Ms. Sarah, and Ms. Gina.

AIS Cabi Event - Fri., 6/4 7:00 pm
Tonight's the night for the Mom's Night Out & Cabi Fashion Show hosted by Mahya Farnia & Jill Jacobs. There will be snacks and vino at Sonrisas Dental Center near the intersection of I-45 & IH-35. We will mix and mingle and then enjoy a Spring Fashion Show with live models featuring AIS Moms. 30% of proceeds from show sales will be donated to the AIS PTO!
Report Cards - Mon., 6/7
Report cards for the final semester will now be sent out on Monday, June 7th. You will receive a link to your child’s report, which will be valid for 14 days. We recommend saving a digital copy and printing a copy for your records within two weeks of receiving the link.
Spirit Week - 6/7 thru 6/9
Next week, for our last week of school, let's show our school spirit! Uniforms are not required, and students may wear our school colors however they wish, as long as it is appropriate. So, color that hair at home, sport those temporary tattoos, and let's see some blue, white, and green! Go AIS Owls!
Buy your Spot Now-End of Year Spirit Night at the Drive-In - Tue., 6/8
We hope you can join us for a special community event to celebrate the end of the year: a Drive-In Movie at the Blue Starlight Urban Drive-In in Round Rock on Tuesday, June 8th! There are only about 30 spots left! So buy your entry now, as ticket sales will close on Sunday, 6/6. Entrance to the drive-in will begin at 8 pm and the movie "Tom & Jerry: The Movie" 2021 will begin at dusk between 8:30 - 9:00 pm.
- Tickets will be $50 per carload (about the cost for a family of 4 to attend at a theater)
- You can opt to pre-order a Snack Combo for $10 which includes a drink, popcorn, & candy. Some limited refreshments will be available on-site at full price.

The following COVID protocols apply. All guests must remain in vehicles except for restroom use and refreshment pick-up. No open hatchbacks. Masks must be worn outside of vehicles or when windows are cracked down below 75%
Last (Half) Day of the 2021-2022 School Year - Wed., 6/9
There are only a few days left of this school year! Wednesday, June 9th will be a half-day and the last day of school. Here is an update to the schedule - please pick up students between 11:30 and 12:00 pm. Lunch will not take place before pickup, so no need to pack a lunch that day. There will NOT be any after-school care available. We thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support and dedication to our school this year and we hope you have a safe and happy summer. We will see you in August!
Yearbook Deadline Extended
We extended the deadline to pre-order your yearbook until next Wednesday, June 9th. Your yearbook will be shipped directly to your home address this year!

HOS eCommuniqué: A Farewell to Colleagues. A Farewell to Friends.
The start of each new school year brings new people into our lives--people we will remember for a lifetime. The end of each school year means that some of our friends will be moving on to new adventures, near and far. In this week's Head of School eCommuniqué, Jacques shares his thanks to several colleagues who will be moving on to new adventures after their many years of service at AIS. Merci, gracias, and thank you to you all for your invaluable contributions to the AIS Community. We look forward to crossing paths again!
20th Anniversary Student Bricks
Don't forget, we are honoring our current and alumni students with bricks for our front courtyard in celebration of our 20th Anniversary. Help us pay homage to all who have made this school possible by purchasing a brick with your student's name and dedication.
Each brick (per student) is $150 and will help fund the 20th Anniversary Master Plan campus beautification at our school. The first bricks will be installed in the summer of 2021!
