Happy Friday Raptor Families,
We are back in the groove and keeping the learning going. As a reminder, parent teacher conferences are February 13th and 15th. Thank you for your patience with our new scheduling process through Meet The Teacher. Please feel free to contact the office if you need assistance getting signed up for conferences. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing your students’ progress with you.
On Tuesday, February 6th, our 2nd Grade students have their music night in the gym at 6:00pm. On Wednesday, February 7th, we have several students participating in the Middle School Honor Band Concert is at Longmont High School at 7:00pm. Also on Wednesday, February 7th we have our PLC/Late Start. School starts at 11:05 am, with dropoff beginning at 10:50 am.
We have been celebrating student attendance and we have seen an improvement this month. Please continue to support your student in getting to school on time. We appreciate your support and involvement in our school community. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

After School Supervision
If your students are staying outside the building on school grounds after school hours they must have adult supervision.
Late Starts for the School Year:
February 7th, March 6th, April 3rd, May 1st
School starts at 11:05am, the earliest students can be dropped off is 10:50am. Buses pick up 2.5 hours later than their normal pick up time.

Mid Year iPad Insurance
If you didn't opt- in to iPad insurance in the beginning of the school year, you can still do so for the second half of the year. The cost is $12.50. Have your student see Mr. Elwood. Payment can be made in the office with cash or check or online through Infinite Campus after your student has checked in with Mr. Elwood.
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! We hope to see you all there during the week of Parent Teacher Conferences!

6th-8th Grade Soccer Registration
6th- 8th Grade Soccer Registration is open through the City of Longmont. Practices will be Monday-Thursday 3:45-5:15 and will start March 4th. Games will start the week of March 25th. Please see the attached flyer for more details and information on how to register your student.
Celebrate your child’s birthday by joining the Birthday Book Club and donating a book to the school library in their name! Each child who participates will have their name inscribed on a bookplate on the front endpaper of the donated book. We will take a picture of the birthday child holding their donated book and they will get the first chance to check it out.

Lost and Found
The Lost and Found is filling up. Please make sure to have your students check it for any lost jackets, sweatshirts, lunch boxes or water bottles. Anything remaining after 2/15 will be donated.
5210+ Healthy Kids Challenge
The Healthy Kids 5210+ Challenge is a FREE month- long program during February where students, school staff and families learn to practice the 5210+ healthy habits every day. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
