We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to UPE and the Mountain Academy of Arts Sciences this coming Thursday evening from 5 - 6:30. This event has been designed to welcome parents, caregivers, and the community to our school. We’ll share about our literacy programming, offer ideas and resources to support literacy development at home, and engage those interested in our school’s new Action Plan. Teachers will also use this time to share what your child's day looks like in their classroom.
We will have tables with representatives to share about a variety of topics and opportunities for you to learn about the incredible instruction we have planned for all children this year. You will leave with a strong understanding of how we will partner together to raise amazing students and citizens.
Schedule:
5:00 - 6:00 PM - 20 Minute Small Group Rotations to your child’s (children's) classroom for Literacy and Classroom Presentations. Pick a session that works best for your family. Teachers will be handing out book bags during each session.
Classroom Session #1 - 5:00-5:20 PM
Classroom Session # 2 - 5:20-5:40 PM
Classroom Session #3 - 5:40 - 6:00 PM
6:00-6:30 PM - Table Visits and Snacks Outside.
