- Highlighting community leaders serving on Housing Authority - Barbara Blubaugh, Sandra Clay, Pam Grubbs, Pat Owens, & Robert Warner. The Housing Authority is the local administrative agency for housing assistance programs funded by HUD. Thank you for ensuring people have safe & sanitary shelter to live in.

- Cemetery Cleanup was last week following Memorial Day. Our next decoration of monuments will be Father's Day. Appropriate decorations may be used for one week beginning with Father's Day. Thank you for observing.
- Work completed last week at the outdoor pool included owner equipment training, storage building for the dome, stadium lights, chairs have been ordered, & landcaping is starting, lifeguard training is next. Work at the pond continues with completion of the bridge, next is to complete the walkway connecting the bridge. Pool closings for staff training this week to prepare for the opening of the new outdoor aquatics facility.
- ESSD has allowed P&R to remove playground equipment at Lewis to reinstall any salvagable play equipment in city parks.
- Grant applications were submitted to replace N.Thompson St. & 143rd St. bridges, these applications were not successful last year when the Garland Street Bridge was funded.
- Presentation was made to Ray County Commissioners about the Fishing River Watershed Study, looking forward to continued conversations about how we can recognize practices that contribute to flooding.
