Submitting a Technology Work Order
How do I get help with my technology?
To ensure efficient technology service, please utilize our eWorkorders system by submitting a technology work order.
Where do I go to submit my work order?
To submit a technology work order, please log in to your GCCISD portal.
Access your portal by visiting the district home page and selecting MyGC located at the top of the page. Log in using your computer login credentials. Once logged in, you will find a set of default tiles. Click on the tile labeled 'Submit Technology Work Order' and fill out the form accordingly
In addition to the portal, you can also find several links for submitting technology work orders on the Technology Department website. To access the Technology Department website from the district home page:
- Go to www.gccisd.net
- Select 'Departments'
- Choose 'Technology Department
Which type should I select?
To ensure prompt repair of your technology hardware and software, the most effective method is by submitting a technology work order. We offer various types of work order categories to accommodate different needs. Below is a brief description of each category to assist you in selecting the most suitable one
1 - Service Request
This is our default request, suitable for any hardware or software issues with your classroom/office technology equipment
2 - Security Access
The security access request is exclusively for gaining access or requesting additional access to TEAMS or specific folders on the shared drive. Approval from your direct supervisor or the campus principal is required
3 - Technology Quote/Order
A technology quote or order request is submitted when you require a quote for new technology.
*This type of request is not used for requesting toner for your classroom or workroom printer or to request repairs on equipment.
7 - iPad App Request
Choose this work order type to request an app to be pushed out to student iPads or the shared iPads in your classroom. Before making a request, please verify the app is on the approved app list. Apps not the approved app list will require approval before assignment to student/shared iPads
