Letter From The CEO:
Regardless of what the Colorado weather may do this month, let me tell you all happy spring!
A few items to note for April:
We will be closed on Thursday, April 21 for our annual Staff Day. The building will be closed to all of you while we learn some new skills to enable us to help you better.
Book Club will begin their work of selecting books for next season during the month. That means if you’ve wanted to come to book club but don’t like the books that are selected, now is the time to get involved.
Stop the Bleed returns this month. This course is designed to teach you how to control any bleeding resulting from an injury while you wait for EMTs to arrive. Space is limited, so sign up early.
Storytime is going strong on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Don’t worry that your child may be the wrong age—all are welcome, and you’ll get the chance to interact with a bunch of other adults who are also caring for young children. Storytime makes everybody happy.
Amie P.
Library CEO

Take up Space: Teen/Tween art and mindfulness program
Does your teen/tween love art? Do they wish they could come to a place where they can create freely and mindfully? This is the place. At no cost your teen gets a sketchbook and free range on the art supplies we have so they can create what speaks to their heart.
Take up Space usally meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the Month from 4:30PM to 5:50PM, however April is a little different. We will meet on the first Thursday 4/7, then we will meet on the fourth Thursday 4/28 since we will be closed on 4/21 for our Annual Staff Development Day. The times we meet have not changed, just one of the dates for this month.
