The Class of 2024 is hosting a Fall Ball that will take place on Friday, November 3rd from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Tickets will be on sale during lunch periods $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door.

The Stissing Mountain High School Key Club will be hosting a Blood Drive on November 27th from 2:30 to 7 in the High School Cafeteria. To signup for the blood drive, please go to https://donate.nybc.org/donor/schedules/zip.

The Stissing Theater Guild in cooperation with the Pine Plains Central School District will present Neil Simon’s comic fable, Fools, on December 1st - 7:00pm, December 2nd - 7:00pm and December 3rd - 2:00pm in the Stissing Mountain High School auditorium. Travel back to 1890 and visit the Ukrainian village of Kulyenchikov, where everyone is stupid thanks to an age-old curse. Can the new schoolmaster turn things around and bless them with the power of thought? The only way you’ll find out is to attend. Tickets are $10.00 please see link below.

In the first two months of school we have seen a drastic increase in student engagement in the classrooms. Students have spoken on how they are more focused in class and how they are less distracted by their cell phones. We ask that families continue to encourage their child to not be using their cell phones in the classroom setting.
