Psychology Study Participant Recruitment
Dear Psychology Students,
I am writing to enlist your help in finding participants for our ongoing study of how college students cope with a recent romantic breakup. I have been studying romantic separations at the UA for almost 20 years, and we have a new study that will follow people for a month (2 hours total time involved) and is open for enrollment. All participants must be located in Tucson, but they do not need to be UA students.
Have you experienced a stressful romantic breakup in the last few months? If yes, you might be eligible to participate in our study, and we’d love to have you complete our screening survey if you’re interested in finding out more: https://redcap.uahs.arizona.edu/surveys/?s=L44YDT98WNHNHR4K
Do you know someone who has had a tough breakup? We’d love for you to help us spread the word or forward this email to anyone you think might be eligible to participate with us. Anyone who is local in Tucson and would like to participate with us can complete the screening survey-- forward by email or drop into a text to a friend: https://redcap.uahs.arizona.edu/surveys/?s=L44YDT98WNHNHR4K
Thanks for your help and consideration.
Sincerely,
David Sbarra

We're also looking at the components of autobiographical memory that might be sensitive to Alzheimer's disease risk.
