SENIORS ~ Financial Aid Letter SENIORS ~ Financial Aid Letter

Dear Seniors and Caregivers:

We wanted to reach out and share a few resources with you. As many of you may know, FAFSA has been revised this year and the deadlines have been adjusted with various colleges. We are receiving many emails from colleges with updates to the process. For current information or specific questions,

please contact the Financial Aid departments of the college or institution directly.

Please encourage your student to be checking Naviance for individually posted local scholarships. Additionally, the applications for Monomoy Dollars for Scholars and Cape Cod Foundation have opened. Representatives for both agencies have presented to the senior class regarding their

application process.

Please note the deadline for Cape Cod Foundation is March 1 at 11:59 PM, and the deadline for Dollars for Scholars is April 1 at 6:00 PM. Our community is incredibly generous, and there are many scholarships available to fit every student.

For those needing assistance with FAFSA, here are some resources to access:

  • FAFSA
  • Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA)
  • uAspire

You may also access the financial aid presentation that was hosted at Monomoy in November on the MRHS Guidance & Counseling website.

For scholarships that need transcripts and letters of recommendation mailed, please provide Mrs. Casey (bcasey@monomoy.edu) with the specific information and the information will be mailed directly to the organization.

Good luck and please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you,

The MRHS School Counseling Department
